WACFL's Healthy League

Each WACFL League should be operating at a Bronze Healthy League level as a minimum standard. Leagues are encourage to meet Silver or Gold levels based on their willingness to improve their Leagues health. 

Bronze League/ Minimal Requirements

•Incorporated Association
•Up to date Rules of the League
•President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, Umpire Advisor, Tribunal Chairmen
•Regular League Meetings (Agenda, Minutes etc.)
•Signed WACFL Affiliation Agreement (and Compliant)
•Clear ‘Match Day Paperwork’ Processes
•Have a clearly defined Communication Strategy
•100% Coach Accreditation (minimum Level 1 Senior Footy)
•Finance (Start of year Budget, Regular Reporting, end of year Audit)
•Fox Sporting Pulse (Contacts, Fixtures, Results)
•Comply with the Laws of Australian Football
•WACFL Event Management Plan for large events
 
Silver League/ Minimal Requirements
 
•Bronze League Compliance
•Leagues Facebook Page & Website
•Representative Program
•League Board Portfolios (Fundraising, Pathway, Rep Program, Umpiring) and Position Descriptions
•An Umpires Panel with Development Opportunities
•Timely Match Results Reporting (Sunday Evening) and Media Reporting
•Printed Fixtures
•Good Relationship with the Zoned WAFL Club and Local Media
•0.5x Years Turnover surplus in savings at the end of the financial year
 
Gold League/ Minimal Requirements
 
•Silver League Compliance
•League Strategic Plan
•Adequate League Staffing / Training for Volunteers
•Board Succession Planning
•‘Community’ Board Portfolio
•Competition Equalisation Strategies (if required)
•Adequate Sponsorship Servicing
•Coach Development Initiatives
•100% Umpire Accreditation
•Volunteer Recognition Strategies
•Great Relationship with the Zoned WAFL Club and Local Media
•1x Years Turnover surplus in savings at the end of the financial year
