Football in the Central Midlands FL and the Mortlock FL will trial something different in 2018 with both Leagues agreeing to Clubs playing "crossover" matches against one another for premiership points. The New Holland State Country side has tasted victory for the first time in over five years when they defeated South Australia by 40pts at Fremantle Community Bank Oval on Saturday night. After a tight first half, the hosts went into the main break trailing by nine points. It was a fired up Sandgropers outfit that reemerged after the break and piled on eight goals to nil in a scintillating term of football to all but end the contest by the final change.

New Holland State Country Squad named

CBH Group Colts Award Winners

The Great Southern Storm's Corey Linthorne was awarded with the Ken Baxter Trophy as the Fairest and Best player at the CBH Group Colts Carnival last weekend. Linthorne, who plays for Royals in the Great Southern Football League attracted Umpire's votes in three out of his four games.
