CBH Group Country Colts Wed, July 22, 2015 - 2:45 PM
This weekends interstate clash won’t be the only match for the day, with the best young country colts taking on the WA Amateur Football League at 12pm. The CBH Group Country Colts have been selected from the recent Landmark Country Football Championships so all 24 players chosen will come into the match in good form.
In the Colts competition, the country side has tasted success in previous matches and WA Country Football League Operations Coordinator Shaun Jasper is tipping that trend to continue.
“The Colts division at the country week carnival certainly allows us the chance to select the best young players from around the State to represent the country areas. We are very confident that the players chosen will give the city boys some trouble,” Jasper said.
Colts to watch out for include Liam Ryan, Brendon White and Shannon Broad.
