South West victory one for the ages Wed, July 12, 2017 - 9:19 AM

The South West Football League produced arguably the most remarkable finish in a CBH Group Colts Grand Final in history with an after the siren goal helping them record a thrilling five point victory over Peel.

Both teams progressed through to the final following otsanding showings on both Thrudsday and Friday with the Peel's only loss coming at the hands of their undfeated Grand Final opponent.

In a tight tussle all day Peel held the assendaney until the dying minutes in the final term. A South West goal to small forward Eli Hill would reduce the margin to a solitary point with only seconds left before Sebastian Dixon marked on the siren to give the SOuth West a shot at a rmearkable victory.

The South Bunbury youngster would duly slot the goal sparking wild celebrations amopngst the South West faithful and heartbreak within the Peel fraternity.

Peel's Olicer Walton was simply outstanding in the decider with his three majors helping him to the Kim 'Freddy' Curnow trophy as best afield.

Taine williams bagged four majors for the South West in a telling display that saw him named amongst his sides best alonside Kyle Hickman, Toby Horton and Dixon.

Jordann Ness and Josh Hill were galant all day for Peel alonsgide Walton.
