Country Football WA has appointed its first female president, with Mel Sulzberger elected to the role at Tuesday night’s Board Meeting.  Sulzberger joined the CFWA board in 2023 and brings over a decade of involvement in Albany’s country football community. Her extensive volunteer experience includes roles such as Auskick Coordinator, President of Southern Districts Junior Football, and team manager of the U16s Royals Football Club (Albany).  Sulzberger’s extensive experience spans various sports across the country, including serving on club committees in South Australia and Victoria.
